Context

Over 100 years ago, Lassonde was founded as a family business in Rougemont, Quebec. Today, they can still count on passionate, innovative people who invest energy, time, creativity and commitment to create tasty, quality products. Sunrype is a proudly Canadian brand based in Kelowna, BC and part of Lassonde’s growing portfolio.

Context

Mandate

To highlight the idea that Sunrype beverage products are made from the BC sun, create an out of the box OOH concept that reinforces this message.
The execution should include photo opp, and data collection.
Contest planned to incentivize participants to share their photos.

Solution

Design and build 4 identical minimalist bollboard frames measuring 8’H x 12’W
Stand-alone frames would be empty except for a hand holding a glass of juice centered in the frame.
The concept is to use the sky as the background so that at sunset, the sun would pass through the center of the glass of juice.
Install the frames in 4 iconic environments in Western Canada: Sunset Beach in Vancouver, boardwalk in downtown Kelowna, apple orchard near Kelowna, and the River Walk in Calgary.
Obtain all the necessary permits for the 4 locations.
Liaise with the client’s film crew to facilitate the shoot(s).
